Fine art works

Paintings that reflect a love of color and surface, made with quiet attention and curiosity.

My paintings move between landscape, energy, and atmosphere — each series its own world, all of them rooted in the same preoccupations: color as a thing felt before it is seen, surfaces that hold the evidence of process, and the pleasure of not fully knowing what a painting will become before it arrives. I work in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and sometimes pen and pencil, from a studio in Rockland, Massachusetts.
